The original painting was done after many calls on hold and trying to get simple things done. It was born out of frustration and seemed to echo my feelings towards my Art career at the time. Like most of my work, it's purpose is to be uplifting with a 'tongue in cheek' nod and wink to life's trials.
The image was inspired by a vintage painting, hand drawn and painted with oils on a linen canvas. The letters were painted using traditional sign writing techniques with enamel, glossy paint.
All the finest materials have been sourced to produce a high quality piece of Art. The printers use Fine Art Trade Guild approved equipment, inks and Matt poster paper. The papers selected and the inks are archival quality and tests have shown that colours last up to 70 to 80 years.
Each poster print is made to order so they take a little bit longer to be dispatched because they are made especially for you. Please allow up to 2 weeks.
Once you place the order, the printers will be contacted and then it will be shipped to Maeve. Each print is then proof checked and signed with by Maeve and carefully wrapped. You will then be notified to let you know it's on it's way.
